It's one thing to beat the odds and win a lifetime prize, but it's another thing entirely when two people do it on the very same night. That's exactly what happened in Connecticut, where a pair of Lucky for Life tickets matched big in Saturday's drawing, each unlocking a $25,000-a-year windfall.

The twist? Both winners have yet to come forward, leaving behind a swirl of excitement, curiosity, and speculation. Where were the tickets sold? How close are the winners to claiming their life-changing prizes, and could someone be walking around unaware they've struck it rich?

Not one, but two big winners

It was a lucky night for not only one but two 加拿大28预测开奖:Connecticut Lottery players. The two players both matched all five of the winning white ball numbers in the Lucky for Life draw game on Saturday, May 3, 2025, to win $25,000 a year for the rest of their lives.

The winning white ball numbers for Saturday night’s drawing were 2, 13, 18, 21, and 31, and the Lucky Ball number was 9. Both players matched all of the white ball numbers but missed out on matching the Lucky Ball number to win the second-tier prize.

One of the winning tickets was purchased at the Turnpike Package Store located in Windsor Locks. The other winning ticket was purchased at A&S Quick Pik convenience store located in Meriden.

Claiming their prize

Neither of these lucky winners have stepped forward to claim their prize yet. They will have until October 20, 2025, to claim their prize, according to lottery officials.

When they do step forward to claim their winnings, they will have two options. They can either accept the annuity payments of $25,000 for life or 20 years, whichever is greater, or they can get a one-time lump sum payment, which is equal to $390,000 before taxes.

Any winning ticket over $50,000 must be claimed in person at the Connecticut Lottery headquarters, which is located in Wallingford. Details for claiming a winning lottery 🅷ticket can be f🅠ound here.

Lucky store alert

It seems like we have a lucky lottery retailer in Connecticut after Saturday night's win. The A&S Quick Pik convenience store on East Main Street in Meriden also happened to sell a big winner last month.

In April, Quick Pik sold a winning UConn Championship Cash scratch-off ticket. The lucky winner recently claimed their prize, which happened to be for $50,000.

Another big Connecticut Lottery winner

It was a winning week for lottery players in Connecticut. Earlier in the week a Hartford man, who said he's been a fan of the $4,000,000 Fortune scratch-off game since it debuted in December 2023 finally hit the top prize in that game.

The big winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said he's been regularly playing the scratch-off game and is thrilled that his loyal pursuit of the top prize has finally paid off.

When scratching the winning ticket, he told lottery officials that he had to count the number of zeroes on the ticket a few times before realizing it was six. He bought the winning ticket at the Mobil gas station located on Weston Street in Hartford.

Now that he has the winnings in hand, he told lottery officials that he is planning to “reset his life” and go back to school to pursue a higher education degree.

He isn't the only one celebrating, as the Mobil gas station will receive a $40,000 bonus from the state lottery for selling the winning ticket.

Enjoy playing the Connecticut Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
