As many Americans are struggling to pay their bills every month, we have three Powerball and Mega Millions winners who have yet to claim their prizes, with one ticket expiring today.

Powerball ticket from Indiana expires today

The first ticket about to expire is a $50,000 Powerball ticket that was purchased in Greenwood, Indiana, for the May 6 drawing. The winning ticket was purchased at Superior Discount Beverage, located at 1004 US Hwy 31 South in Greenwood.

For this winning ticket, the lucky winner matched four out of the five white balls drawn that night along with the Powerball to win $50,000.

The winning white ball numbers for the Monday, May 6, 2024, drawing were 7, 23, 24, 56, and 60, and the Powerball number was 25.

For Hoosier Lottery draw game prizes, the winner must claim their money within 180 days of the drawing. That means this winning ticket must be claimed no later than 4:30 p.m. ET today, Monday, November 4, 2024. The lucky ticket holder can do this at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office, located at 1302 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis.

The ticket holder can contact the 加拿大28预测开奖:Hoosier Lottery customer service for specific claim instructions at 1-800-955-6886.

Big Powerball jackpot-winning ticket from Ohio expiring next month

A ticket holder in Ohio is holding onto an even bigger prize amount, but they have a little more time to claim their prize.

A Powerball ticket purchased in Ohio matched all six of the winning numbers in the July 3, 2024, drawing to win the jackpot worth $139.3 million that night. However, lottery officials in Ohio say no one has stepped forward yet to claim the winnings.

The winning white ball numbers for that drawing were 2, 26, 33, 55, and 57, and the Powerball number was 22. The lucky ticket holder purchased the winning ticket at a Walmart store in Huber Heights.

For winning draw game tickets in Ohio, lottery officials said the winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. That means the deadline to claim the $139.3 million would be December 30, 2024.

A $1.13 billion Mega Millions jackpot remains unclaimed

加拿大28预测开奖:New Jersey Lottery officials are still waiting for the $1.13 billion jackpot winner of the March 26, 2024, Mega Millions drawing to come forward and claim their prize.

Yes, the lucky player who matched all of the winning numbers during the March 26 Mega Millions drawing to win $1.13 billion hasn't claimed their money yet.

It has now been over seven months since the drawing took place. New Jersey Lottery winners have one year from the date of the drawing to file a claim before the ticket expires.

The winning numbers for that drawing were 7, 11, 22, 29, and 38, and the Mega Ball number was 4. The winning ticket was purchased at ShopRite Liquor #781, located at 2200 Route 66 in Neptune Township.

Since this is a large amount of money, the winner might be trying to get everything in place before claiming their winnings. They could be seeking professional legal and financial advice before making the claim. The ticket holder has until March 26, 2025, to file their claim before the ticket expires.

What happens if no one claims the prizes?

If the deadline comes and goes and no one claims the winning ticket, the prize money will be distributed back to each participating state lottery. From there, they distribute the money based on their own jurisdiction's laws.

For example, in Ohio, the Powerball jackpot money would go to the state's unclaimed prize fund, which ends up being part of the lottery's profits.

Enjoy playing the lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
